Scott Forsgren
Scott Forsgren has been journeying
through the world of Lyme disease since 1996 when he was bitten by a tick in Sea Ranch, California.
After 45 doctors and eight years of inaccurate diagnoses, he was diagnosed with Lyme disease,
Ehrlichiosis, Babesia, and Bartonella in 2005. Though Scott often supports the need for antibiotic
therapy as part of a Lyme disease treatment protocol, he believes that antibiotics alone are not the
solution to recovering from chronic Lyme disease.
Scott’s areas of interest and research are in the fields of alternative and integrative
treatment options. In 2005, Scott created his web site at http://www.BetterHealthGuy.com to share
his journey with others. Scott has been a member of the Public HealthAlert staff since its first
issue, and has interviewed doctors such as Ritchie Shoemaker, Garry Gordon, Amy Derksen, Lee Cowden,
Warren Levin, and others.
Scott lives in California, and enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, and kickboxing.
